Annual Care Giver Retreat

Professional Care Givers! "Reflect, Restore, Renew."

A.C.G.R.

As a caregiver, you give a lot of your time to others to make sure their daily needs of comfort are provided.

Have you taken care of yourself lately? Care giving, is one of the most stressful tasks that anyone can take on. As a provider of care, you are responsible for the well-being of those who would lack many needed services, services that may cause illness, pain, and stress.

That’s a big job.

You should take time to Reflect, Restore and Recreate. This is done by stepping away from a busy schedule and taking a breath of fresh air. That’s what these smiling care givers did in 2019 at Stone Mountain, Ga.

Group of caregivers from 2019.

You are invited to attend ‘The Annual Retreat’ among other caregivers just like yourself. All attendees will be given one agenda. That will be the task of Reflection, so that each may Restore his/her weary spirits and be involved in Recreating the attitude which has peace, purpose, and hope.

This year’s theme is the Buccaneers of the Seven Seas!

What does the terrible period of piracy in the world have to do with caregiving? Come and you will see. All caregivers are precious treasure more that the loot of many ships at sea. Come, get away from the world of hurried activities and take time to reflect on your calling to love others.

Come dressed as a pirate and have fun in full costume. We will be taking no names nor prisoners.

This Year's Theme:
The Bee Retreat

Believe you can with a picture of a bee.

The Fantastic Bee Retreat!

Bees, known as industrious and social insects, hold a profound spiritual significance in many spiritual traditions. The structure of bee hives showcases the remarkable harmony and community within them.

The Bee Retreat will help you to think about you as a Spiritual Being as you seek to support people who need real people to care for them. No one wants a half-hearted person to care for them. Even the difficult person desires help from someone who is reliable, stable, caring and real.

This is why every caregiver needs to serve from a place of being rather than knowing or doing. We will address this in depth at the retreat.
