Annual Care Giver Retreat
Professional Care Givers! "Reflect, Restore, Renew."
A.C.G.R.
As a caregiver, you give a lot of your time to others to make sure their daily needs of comfort are provided.
Have you taken care of yourself lately? Care giving, is one of the most stressful tasks that anyone can take on. As a provider of care, you are responsible for the well-being of those who would lack many needed services, services that may cause illness, pain, and stress.
That’s a big job.
You should take time to Reflect, Restore and Recreate. This is done by stepping away from a busy schedule and taking a breath of fresh air. That’s what these smiling care givers did in 2019 at Stone Mountain, Ga.
You are invited to attend ‘The Annual Retreat’ among other caregivers just like yourself. All attendees will be given one agenda. That will be the task of Reflection, so that each may Restore his/her weary spirits and be involved in Recreating the attitude which has peace, purpose, and hope.
This year’s theme is the Buccaneers of the Seven Seas!
What does the terrible period of piracy in the world have to do with caregiving? Come and you will see. All caregivers are precious treasure more that the loot of many ships at sea. Come, get away from the world of hurried activities and take time to reflect on your calling to love others.
Come dressed as a pirate and have fun in full costume. We will be taking no names nor prisoners.

Breakfast - Buccaneer Bingo
Session 1 - Hman - Welcome
During the 17 and 18oos, there was introduced a need for nations to wage secret wars against each other. With the beginning of the New Land of America, nations began to take advantage of their stake in the industry of claiming victories, rights and anything else the Kings and Queens could get glory over.
During this time, they hired experienced seamen to hijack cargo, sink foreign ships, and cause havoc for their adversarial countries. These mercenaries were privateers; men and women who were willing to work for the crown and earn a decent living. But after the armies were able to guard the seas, these mariner contractors lost their use and they began to be called pirates.
